Chez Tara is located on Avea Bay at the southern end of Huahine. Every Sunday they serve a traditional Tahtian meal cooked in an oven in the ground. Booking is highly recommended to ensure you get a place. The food is served buffet style following the opening of the oven — get there early to watch it being opened. Tahitian music plays while you eat.
